Commissioner Goslin is hosting an information session for residents to learn about funds available through the Cook County Disaster Grant to assist businesses, families and individuals impacted by the severe storms and flooding in September and October of 2008.
The information session will be held at the Glenview Police Department Community Room on Wednesday, June 23rd from 6pm - 9pm.
At this session, residents will learn how to qualify for the funds, and will also be able to process their applications on-site. $10.3 million in Grant Funds are available to help residents with unresolved property repairs, mold remediation and other flood-related issues. (The grant cannot be used to reimburse individuals for fixing their homes or for any expenses they incurred and paid for themselves).
