When you're driving
a vehicle, and you see flashing red, white or blue emergency lights, you must
yield the right-of-way to approaching emergency vehicles! State law requires you
to immediately drive to the right-hand edge of the road, clear of any intersection,
and, if necessary, stop your vehicle. Once stopped, you must remain there until
all emergency vehicles have passed. Use extreme care when stopping in heavy traffic,
as other drivers may not be aware that emergency vehicles are approaching. Remember,
the next time you see the red, white or blue pull over!
