Vehicle Stickers

If you live in unincorporated Cook County and own a vehicle, you are required to purchase a Cook County vehicle license sticker. Vehicle license stickers are valid from July 1st through June 30th of the following year. Sheriff’s police officers enforce this requirement by ticketing  vehicles (wheel tax violation).

2011 Cook County stickers will be available for purchase mid-May and need to be displayed by July 1. Stickers purchased after July 1st are subject to a late fee.  As a convenience to residents, the Northfield Township office will have the stickers available for purchase at 3801 West Lake Avenue in Glenview.

Call the Northfield Township office at 847-724-8300 after May 1st to verify the exact date stickers will be sent from Cook County and available for purchase. Northfield Township will charge a convenience fee of $5.00 for each sticker sold.
